Exter T150 with Stainless Steel Housing
Robust yet slim lightweight operator panel. Aluminum frame and casing in appealing design, powder-coated in "steel"-gray color, provides protection and gives a timeless look. The 4-color foil print further enhances the sense of depth in the operator panel. The front enclosure is IP66 classified, which means that it is waterproof even when exposed to high pressure washing. The operator panel is configured with the user-friendly software tool "Information Designer".
Optimal viewing. With 1024x768 pixels, this high-resolution 15.0" TFT-display ensure optimal viewing in all conditions and large viewing angles. Most sizes in the Exter T-Series Line are also available in the Exter Pro+ model. |
Exter Sun-Readable Screen
BEI’s newest and largest-bore hollow shaft encoder is ideal for large motor feedback applications. The HS45 accepts motor shafts up to 1 5/8 inches in diameter (1 - 7/8 inches optional) and provides data for position and velocity control. This model incorporates the precise feedback capabilities of an optical encoder with an easily mounted configuration to larger motors. There is no need to step down or alter most large motor shafts.
The HS45 encoder provides an option for dual electrically isolated outputs. Should one set of outputs sustain electrical damage, a quick change of the connection enables you to get back up and running quickly. Alternatively, the dual output can also be utilized to feed two different controllers from a single encoder. This ensures speed and/or position synchronization without the cost of an additional encoder.
Exter Pro+ Panels
The EXTER Pro+ version is available for the larger EXTER terminals with displays from 6.5" to 15". With extended functionality, EXTER Pro+ makes valuable information available where it is needed the most - right at the hands of the operator.
PDF-viewer facilitates documentation handling. A built-in PDF-viewer makes it possiblte to include electronic manuals and instructions at the delivery of a machine. It is also easy to update the documents when new versions are available.
Web browser enables Internet access from the operator terminal. The EXTER Pro+ terminals provide web browser functionality that gives access to information that is published on the Internet or an intranet.
Support for AXIS network cameras - extra eyes for the operator. EXTER Pro+ provides new viewing possibilities for the machine operator. By for instance monitoring selected parts of a big process with one or more network cameras, it is possible to detect critical situations before they cause costly damage or downtime.
New marketing possibilities with PowerPoint-viewer. PowerPoint presentations can be viewed in the EXTER Pro+ terminals. This enables machine builders to make a presentation of their product range or company available directly in the user interface of their machines.
