GEARLESS MOTORS FOR ROPE LIFTS.
Sicme Motori has designed a new and modern series of gearless winches for rope lifts, called SKYLINE, with the following features:
- Permanent magnet Nd-Fe-B synchronous motor;
- No gearbox;
- Disc brakes and speed transducer integrated into the winch structure.
The series, one of the most innovative on the market today, offers high reliability, high efficiency, small dimensions and a virtually maintenance-free operation for a faster ROI.
The design of these Direct-Drive SKYLINE gearless motors has been carried out by Sicme Motori using the most up-to-date FEM simulation software, both for the electromagnetic-thermal design and for the mechanical structure.

Skyline M winches are suitable for roomless applications. All Skyline M winches are direct-drive, with permanent magnet synchronous motors with external rotor and closed-loop control via inverter. Other features include:
- Flat shape
- Typical installation into the list room
- Low energy consumption
- No vibrations, no noise
- Speed up to 3.5m/s

Skyline Q winches are suitable for room or roomless applications. Skyline Q winches are direct-drive winches, with permanent magnet synchronous motors and closed-loop control via inverter. Other features include:
- Performance/weight optimal ratio
- Low energy consumption
- No vibrations, no noise
- Speed up to 4 m/s
