- Fully-laminated frame
- Low noise level
- VPI impregnation
- TIG welding (for DC motors)
- Compensation winding as standards (from motor frame 280), available on smaller frames.

- Possibility to use special blower silencers to reduce noise levels;
- Tandem motors (motors with a second power-shaft end);
- Transparent inspection doors (standard from motor frame 355, on request for smaller frames);
