Security for Controls Networks
Sign-Up Here
With a growing demand to integrate production data directly with the enterprise, and the need to remotely monitor and control devices from across (and even outside) the entire network, new vulnerabilities such as viruses and trojans have become real threats to the factory floor. This session covers methods of integrating (while still separating) the business and controls networks to ensure a secure production environment.
One of the most important - and most complicated - piece of the puzzle is the development of a documented network security plan. This session helps engineers better communicate with IT departments and explains the available guidelines and recommended security plans developed by organizations such as ISA, NIST, USCAR and others. This presentation will provide overviews of these security plan "templates" and present the criteria for choosing the best plan for your specific environment and/or application.
The Security for Controls Networks training is available as a 1-hour "learn at lunch" or an expanded 2-hour session.
