Nanotec has more than 20 years of experience developing of innovative products solutions such as high performance, energy-saving Plug & Drive motors. Nanotec was quick to recognize the trend towards integrated motors and was one of the first manufacturers to market an integrated stepper motor with the Plug & Drive product line.
Nanotec stepper motors are available in many sizes and power versions, with one or two half windings per phase for unipolar or bipolar control and a single or double shaft. In addition to standard motors, customized versions, motors with integrated encoder or motors for specific applications are also available from stock. Stepper motors have a long service life and are designed for applications requiring a high torque and low speeds.
Hollow Shaft Motors
Nanotec offers stepper motors with hollow shaft in the sizes NEMA 17 (42 mm) and NEMA 23 (56 mm). The hollow shaft can be used to lay cables or conduct laser beams through it in order to save space. Suitable for combination with NOE2 encoders. A hollow shaft offers designers additional space to work with and permits a space-saving design, for example by passing cables or a laser beam directly through the hollow shaft.
Affordable electronically commutated 3-phase brushless motors are particularly well suited for applications that need smooth running and a long service life. The high energy permanent magnets allow high acceleration and speeds of up to 14,000 rpm with exceptional efficiency. The rotor position is reported electronically using three hall sensors offset by 120°. Optional encoders with up to 1000 pulses/rev. allow high-resolution position controlling.
The Nanotec linear actuators are available in sizes from 20 to 59 mm with linear slide (captive), in a standard version (non-captive) or as a positioning drive. The L41 and L59 series are also available with an integrated encoder. Linear actuators are ideal for applications demanding a combination of precise positioning, fast movement and long service life.
The Nanotec motor controllers are designed for both brushless DC motors and stepper motors. They are suitable for closed-loop control with encoder, sensorless control or for control via Hall sensors and offer precise position, speed and torque control. The controllers can be easily parameterized and programmed using the Nanotec software tools.
